The videos are terrific but sometimes you just want to know what to do without going through the whole video. I hope these directions are of benefit. The directions on squarespace seem straightforward enough but when you think you are doing something correct you miss things. And of course on the internet one tiny detail makes all the difference!

http://manual.squarespace.com/pages/insert-an-image.html is where you go for help. (I couldn't find this on my own.)These instructions are very good except I missed the very first direction! The support people were very nice but couldn't tell me what I was doing wrong. Missing this one step meant that my image showed up as an icon instead of an image. Because it showed up where I wanted it I didn't realize my mistake!

My directions:

1. Put cursor where you want the image to appear. Now I know it says this clearly but having already done it with Mike I jumped to the cassette box image.

2. Access Image area: Click on the cassette box image

3. Access Upload New Image Area: Click on the piece of paper with the folded corner

4. Browse to Image on Computer: Click browse and this takes you to your pictures (assuming you have some on your computer)

5. Select Image on Computer

6. Upload Image (if you have used the images before you can click directly on General Storage which shows up in Step 3.

7. Choose Alignment

8. Insert Image

Easy when you know how!

</rss:item></rdf:RDF>
