Irene Kirkman is teaching small business owners Relationship Selling Principles which will translate into more prospects/customers, more sales and higher customer retention through repeat business. Building relationships is paramount to lasting business success. For more information on this topic: http://relationshipselling.org As much as we would like to build our business completely online; offline tools such as the telephone and good old snail mail have their place. Many I talk to are leaving money on the table. So much energy has gone into getting leads that most have no idea on what to do next. Combining online methods with a sales follow up system such as the picking up the phone or sending business thank you cards and developing Relationship Selling skills or consultative selling skills are of critical importance.

Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 11:10PM Just got an email from Mike Klingler regarding a new blog ranking on the first page of Google and Yahoo. It never occurred to me to even check so early on. I mean how could you possibly place high when you've only been around a month? For fun I typed in a couple of keywords and low and behold there I am! Top entry on page 2: The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing: The truth hurts. Now this may not sound that great to you but I really thought I would be on page 15 or worse. It never occurred to me to start looking so soon. Now I have to admit I really didn't think this was really going to work. I've just been following along with Mike's tutorials and actually taking action. I took him at his word that I didn't need the big picture; just enough to get the wheels turning.
Well what an exciting ride this has been! A month ago I didn't know what any of these goofy sounding names were and now I have a Squidoo, a blog, a couple of hub pages with comments and an ezine article. I have a hub page score of 90; not that I know what that means! I've made friends on Facebook; I'm in the process of getting my last name put up there because when I my niece got me on facebook almost a year ago I was too chicken to give out my real name! And somebody called me from Chicago after landing on my lead capture page. I strongly endorse online marketing training available.
People are purchasing The Renegade Network Marketer and signing up for the University. Offline people are interested to know how they can play too. The whole thing makes me laugh in delight. For years I was told to have fun while you build your network marketing business and now I can finally say that I'm having fun. This is really a blast! Kudos to Mike Klingler.
